About the Role
Join Amazon's dynamic Design and Construction Execution team and play a pivotal role in expanding infrastructure across Europe. You will support the delivery of delivery stations and fulfillment centers that power Amazon's global logistics network. This role offers structured learning opportunities while contributing to large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be based in the UK and spend approximately half your time traveling domestically and internationally within EMEA.
Your responsibilities will include supporting end-to-end project delivery from initial concept through final construction, assisting in preparing comprehensive project budgets and detailed schedules, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, maintaining meticulous project documentation and tracking systems, and learning and applying best practices in pre-construction and construction processes.
A typical day blends strategic planning with hands-on project coordination, including reviewing permit applications, conducting construction site visits, engaging with contractors, and tracking project milestones. You will collaborate closely with a team dedicated to delivering complex infrastructure projects through continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and innovative problem-solving.
Experience
- Experience in construction management
- Strong analytical abilities and confidence in data use
- Experience in written and oral communication across all organizational levels
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
About you

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent engineering science
- Knowledge of project management tools and building codes/regulations is preferred
- Internship experience in construction or design is advantageous
- Experience with documentation systems is a plus
- Experience managing cool chains, refrigeration equipment, and temperature-controlled environments is highly desirable
- Additional language skills such as French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Mandarin, Afrikaans, or Zulu are considered preferred qualifications
