About the Role
Join the Control Management team at JPMorganChase and play a key role in performing ongoing analysis of the business' risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses, ensuring controls are properly designed and effective. As an Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment within the Credit and Syndicate EMEA business. This includes identifying and escalating issues with urgency and partnering with the business to ensure timely remediation. The team supports top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating and performing end-to-end analysis of the risk and control environment to identify gaps and root causes of control breaks in collaboration with stakeholders. You will ensure controls are well designed, operating effectively, and contribute to a proactive risk and control culture by leveraging proven evaluation strategies and change management protocols. Additionally, you will perform ongoing analysis of program-related data such as KRIs and KPIs, develop ad-hoc reports to support business programs and strategies, assist with Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentation through process walkthroughs and deep dives, and collaborate with the business to establish robust control frameworks for new business initiatives.
Experience
Relevant experience in the financial services industry with a background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance is preferred. Equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business-related function or operation will also be considered.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
