About the Role
Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. We are seeking a talented lawyer to join the Amazon Leo Legal team. This role involves close collaboration with business leaders and requires developing creative, business-centric legal strategies and building processes that manage risk while allowing the business flexibility and speed. The position may require access to export-controlled information subject to EAR and ITAR regulations, with final employment contingent upon successful export control screenings and obtaining necessary licenses or approvals. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about technology, enjoy continuous challenges, and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations. Some domestic and international travel will be required.

Experience
- At least five years of post-qualification legal experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Experience with commercial agreements and commercial transactions

About you
- Ability to work independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners
- Experience advising senior executives or equivalent
- Enthusiastic about technology and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrates sound judgment and creativity in handling legal issues
