About the Role
This is a fast paced and front facing role where you will be the face of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) at your court centre. You will be responsible for the business management at court and for deploying a team of Paralegal Assistants efficiently to the courtrooms to ensure hearings are effective and cases are progressed. The role requires close working relationships with court staff, counsel, legal and Operational Delivery teams. You will resolve emerging issues as they arise at court, liaising with colleagues across teams to ensure justice is not delayed. This is a court-based role and hybrid working is not available.

Experience
Direct line management experience is required as you will manage a team of Paralegal Assistants. You will be responsible for ensuring all cases listed for hearing are progressed effectively, recorded accurately and all actions completed within 24 hours. Experience in building and maintaining good working relationships with Criminal Justice partners and external agencies is essential.

Qualifications
GCSE and A-Level results will not be taken into account. The CPS values skills, qualities and experience gained outside formal qualifications. You must be aged 18 or over before starting in this role. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required. You must have the right to work in the UK and a valid UK address for clearance purposes.
