About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join Black Ink Projects as a Senior Creative Producer specialising in Packaging & Print. This role is perfect for someone experienced in delivering print and packaging production, passionate about culture and design, highly organised, and self-motivated. You will be part of a small but dynamic team, managing your own projects from concept through to delivery, bringing client briefs to life with beautiful, storytelling packaging.
This fast-paced role involves juggling multiple projects simultaneously. Primary responsibilities include:
- Managing timelines, logistics, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Liaising with packaging suppliers and print houses to negotiate costs and schedules
- Researching and sourcing production elements across various media depending on client briefs
- Providing exceptional client service as the main point of contact throughout the project journey
- Building and maintaining client relationships and supporting new business development
- Overseeing projects from ideation and sampling through to production, fulfilment, and delivery
- Ensuring the highest quality and sustainability standards in all outputs, improving designs for safe and elegant product arrival
- Tracking costs, timings, and project budgets
Creative responsibilities include:
- Designing creative packaging solutions that meet client needs and budgets
- Elevating the end-user experience through innovative and sustainable packaging
- Creating mood boards and presentations to communicate ideas
- Sketching and modelling ideas to articulate designs to the team, partners, and clients
- Researching latest trends and materials to inspire and develop designs
- Staying informed about new production processes and sustainability improvements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in packaging production (not digital), ideally with a background in packaging design including 3D formats
- Proven production knowledge working with suppliers and factories in print and packaging
- Experience in product sourcing and managing shipping and delivery logistics
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects independently
- Proficient in Excel and confident communicator both verbally and in writing
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Awareness of current cultural trends across fashion, beauty, and luxury markets
