Hours
The Sixth Form day runs from 8:30am until 4:30pm. Working hours will be agreed in advance to align with cover requirements and availability.

Salary
£22.41 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role
We are seeking passionate Staff Cover to support students in achieving their full potential across our three highly successful Catholic sixth forms. This role involves supervising and facilitating effective lessons to ensure student progress during teacher absences, as well as providing cover for professional service teams to maintain smooth operations. You will manage student behaviour, support a positive and safe learning environment, deliver pre-prepared resources, and assist with administrative or operational tasks as needed. Experience
- Experience supervising groups of students in an educational setting is desirable.
- Experience working in education, ideally in a similar role.

- Understanding of young people and the challenges they face.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to balance multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to manage and develop productive working relationships with young people.
- Interest in the education environment and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity.
- Willingness to participate in personal development, INSET, and appraisal.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
