About the Role
Turn our customer’s houses into homes - one perfect fit at a time. If you love working with your hands and are handy with a drill and a tape measure, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Curtain & Blind Fitter in our Made to Measure team, you’ll be out on the road, visiting customers in their homes to bring their vision to life. From measuring up to fitting the final product, you’ll ensure every window looks its best and every customer feels confident they chose us. Our Made to Measure Fitters are a huge part of why customers keep coming back. It’s not just about getting the job done - it’s about doing it with care, confidence, and a smile.

You’ll be the face of our service, so a friendly, professional attitude is just as important as your practical skills. You’ll take pride in the details and make sure the job’s done right - first time, every time. You’ll be trusted to represent us in our customers’ homes, bringing warmth, professionalism, and a personal touch to every visit. If you take pride in your work and enjoy making people happy, you’ll feel right at home here.

We’ll kit you out with:
- Use of company van whilst you're at work
- A full tool kit supplied by us
- A fuel card so you’re never out of pocket
- Full training on our products, systems, and customer service approach
- A supportive team and a business that’s big on development and progression

What you'll be doing
- Be customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience, and strive to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way
- Visit customers’ homes to carry out professional curtain and blind fittings as part of our Made to Measure service
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful, and memorable experience
- Measure windows accurately to ensure a perfect fit for every product
- Install a range of window dressings with precision and care
- Deliver a warm, professional service that puts customers at ease and leaves a lasting impression
- Manage your own schedule and plan your day efficiently to meet appointment times
- Maintain your van and tools, ensuring everything is clean, safe, and ready to go
- Handle basic customer queries on-site and escalate any issues where needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines and work tidily and respectfully in customers’ homes
- Represent the Dunelm brand with pride, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset

- A customer-first approach, understanding the importance of making people feel comfortable in their own homes
- A hands-on, practical mindset - confident using tools like drills, levels, and tape measures. Don’t worry if you’re not a pro yet, we provide a brilliant training programme and invest in people with the right attitude and potential
- A keen eye for detail, taking pride in doing a job properly first time and every time
- A friendly, can-do attitude - approachable, professional, and always ready to help
- Comfortable working flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends, to suit customer needs
- We value people who bring new perspectives, fresh ideas, and a shared love of making our stores feel like home
