About the Role
At L'Oréal, a Customer Business Planner is a hybrid role sitting between commercial and supply chain functions, focused on developing accurate customer forecasts and driving customer conversations. The role accelerates collaboration internally and externally to challenge and strategize business plans while representing the customer's voice.
As a Customer Business Planner, you will be at the heart of the commercial operations team, managing forecast processes within your account to provide key stakeholders with visibility of performance trends, opportunities, and risks. Your day-to-day activities include identifying key sales trends with National Account Managers, attending strategic forecast review meetings with retailers to align promotional plans and collaborative forecasts, and engaging with supply chain and marketing teams to share retailer insights and secure optimal service.
You will also collaborate with finance and senior commercial stakeholders to present forecast insights and help shape final turnover decisions made by senior leadership in Paris. This fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding role is central to L'Oréal's commitment to beauty and customer satisfaction.

Experience
Strong understanding of sales forecast construction and trends. Experience working collaboratively with multiple brand teams and functions is preferred.

Excellent communication skills with strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities. Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Resilient, calm, and focused when dealing with unexpected situations. Demonstrates a customer-first mindset.
Preferred skills include proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and forecasting tools.
Qualifications
