About the Role
Join SeedLegals, a leading legaltech company revolutionising automated legal solutions for startups across the UK, France, and Ireland. As part of our Customer Experience team, you will specialise in the R&D Tax Credits area, supporting UK startups to efficiently process their R&D claims. You will guide companies on their R&D eligibility, respond to daily queries via email and Zoom, assist in drafting Technical Narratives, review accounts, and collaborate closely with our R&D team and tax specialists. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-evolving tax area, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship while developing your expertise in finance and tax within a dynamic startup environment.

Experience
- Background in accountancy, tax, or finance, ideally from an accountancy firm or a finance/accounting degree.
- Understanding of financial statements and tax computations.
- Knowledge of financial planning and tax incentives for founders and early-stage employees.
- Interest or experience in building and growing early-stage startups.

About you
- Genuine passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.
- Excited by the opportunity to interact with startup founders daily.
- Beneficial but not essential: previous experience in R&D Tax Credits, interest in science or tech industries, technical skills such as software development knowledge, familiarity with bookkeeping software like Xero or Quickbooks, and some report writing experience.

Qualifications
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
