About the Role
We have a new opportunity for a Customer Liaison Officer to join The Guinness Partnership team. In this role, you will play an important part in safeguarding our communities and delivering on our social purpose: providing safe, high quality homes and essential housing services to those who need them most. This field-based position involves being a visible presence within neighbourhoods, acting as the face of Guinness by providing an accessible, face-to-face service to both homeowners and rental residents.
Working in a mobile way across your designated patch, you will spend much of your time out in the area meeting residents, building relationships, and resolving issues. You will collaborate closely with Estate Services and other Guinness teams to deliver quick, efficient solutions that create positive outcomes for residents and the organisation.
Experience
- Strong face-to-face customer service experience
- Experience working in a climate of legislative and organisational change
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Comfortable analysing data and drawing conclusions
- Experience of working with IT systems and mobile technology on the go
About you
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to plan and work effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong resource and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver value for money
- Resilient and able to handle challenging situations while delivering sustainable outcomes
- Able to demonstrate Guinness behavioural competencies
- Regular travel within the area is essential; a full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
Qualifications
- Desirable: Academic qualifications in Housing and/or Tenancy Management
- Desirable: Relevant professional qualification and/or experience
- Knowledge of regulatory legislation for social housing is advantageous
- Previous budget management experience is desirable
