The Law Society is the membership body for the legal profession, committed to supporting, training, and providing events to assist its members in their careers. The Support Centre is at the forefront of the organisation, where you will liaise with both the public and legal professionals, managing high call volumes and responding to queries via online channels. This is a busy and varied role within a supportive and helpful team that embraces the values of the Law Society and prioritises excellent service.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for anyone wishing to speak to the Law Society, directing calls across the organisation. You will be polite, well-mannered, and have a proven background in a high-volume customer service environment. If you have a positive attitude and a helpful nature, and want to join an organisation offering a generous benefits package, this fixed-term 12-month role could be ideal for you.
The Law Society represents solicitors in England and Wales, working to help, protect, and promote solicitors through negotiation, lobbying, training, and advice.

Experience
Demonstrable customer/member handling experience in a high-volume environment. Proven ability to provide high-quality service to a diverse range of customers and apply logic and common sense when analysing problems.

About you
Strong organisational, administrative, and IT skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including negotiation techniques. Polite, well-mannered, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
