About the Role
As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization supporting Chase UK and JPMorgan Personal Investing, you will be an integral part of a team developing high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. You will drive significant business impact through your expertise and contributions, applying deep technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to address diverse cybersecurity challenges across multiple technology domains.

Your responsibilities include cultivating a security culture with product, technology, and business colleagues by performing secure design reviews and threat modelling with application teams to ensure adoption of control products and creation of secure-by-design products. You will maintain comprehensive knowledge of your product’s strategy, roadmap, and key investment programs, proactively learning unfamiliar technology components and business concepts while applying critical thinking to identify hidden issues.

You will collaborate closely with peers in product and cybersecurity teams to share best practices and be recognized as the clear point of escalation and subject matter expert for Cybersecurity and Technology Controls within your product. Partnering and influencing across your product’s supply chain, you will work with product, technology, and business colleagues on audit and regulatory engagements, risk activities, and project initiatives. Additionally, you will engage with Third Party Oversight teams to ensure effective technology risk management of vendors, with a focus on Cloud computing and emerging technologies.

Experience
Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable, in-depth expertise in one or more technical disciplines. Proven ability to design and implement effective cybersecurity and technology controls. Subject matter expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and/or AWS, including how controls are applied to secure data and maintain availability. Experience with cloud services such as PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and Kubernetes solutions (e.g., Anthos, AKS, EKS). Experience with cloud security posture management and cybersecurity vulnerability management. Strong understanding of network security, network design, firewalls, and authorization/authentication implementation and best practices.
