Description
1. To work with the Data Quality & Returns Manager on the preparation and co-ordination of timely and accurate statutory student data returns to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Office for Students (OfS), NHS England (NHSE), and the Department for Education (DfE). 2. To support the Data Quality & Returns Manager with the audit of statutory returns to ensure consistency and accuracy of data. 3. To learn and gain an understanding of higher education policy particularly related to student data and funding. 4. To use a range of IT software, such as Excel, in conjunction with our student record system in order to manage student data. 5. To support the administration of course setup and maintenance. 6. To undertake analysis and reporting of complex data throughout the University and, where appropriate, presenting to this to relevant stakeholders. 7. To build effective relationships with key members of staff throughout the University. 8. To have a flexible approach to working and to carry out ad hoc tasks at the request of the Data Quality & Returns Manager or Head of Strategic Planning. 9. To undertake any other requirements commensurate with the seniority of the post/as required by the Head of Service.
