About the Role
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. As a Delivery Consultant, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet specific customer needs, collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. Additionally, you will lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project. You will join a diverse global team of technical experts who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.

Experience
- Implementing AWS services in various distributed computing environments
- Data lake architecture and design (Lake Formation, S3-based architectures)
- Medallion architecture implementation (bronze/silver/gold layer design)
- Data strategy and governance frameworks
- Data modeling and schema design for analytics workloads
- Modern data platform design and implementation
- ETL/ELT pipeline development and optimization (Glue, EMR)
- Data warehousing solutions (Redshift)
- Data catalog management and metadata governance
- Data quality and lineage frameworks

About you
- Experienced technology professional with strong technical expertise in cloud computing technologies
- Skilled in large scale migration projects (data center to data center or data center to cloud)
- Knowledgeable in data security, compliance, and access controls
- Ability to optimize performance for data processing workloads
- Familiarity with big data processing platforms (EMR, Glue)
- Strong collaborator and trusted advisor to customers
- UK national able to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Clearance

Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Experience mentoring, training, and sharing knowledge within teams
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies
