£32,569 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) + additional allowances
About the Role
As a Despatch Operator at Aliaxis UK Limited, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy external storage yard. This hands-on, operational role involves picking, packing, and loading products accurately while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full, while contributing to continuous improvement across yard operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Load vehicles in the correct drop sequence to support timely deliveries
- Receive, count and correctly store incoming stock
- Operate forklifts and side-loaders safely and to a high standard
- Maintain stock accuracy through careful picking and cycle counts
- Follow and actively promote health and safety best practices
- Plan and prioritise daily tasks to achieve optimal output
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
- Support across all yard-based activities as required, with flexibility for overtime

Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or yard-based role
- Proven ability to pick orders accurately and maintain high attention to detail
- Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment (licence preferred or willingness to train)
