What's involved with this role: Interim Development Accountant x2 – Finance Reference no: CLA 0009 1382 / 1 Pay rate: £22.44 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 36 Monday – Friday, normal working hours This opening assignment is for 2 months City: SOUTHWARK, London Hybrid working, in the office in More London 2-3 days per week A Development Accountant is required to work in a mini project team to support the reconciliation project, development accountant specific. Pulling information from the finance system and looking at spend, checking ledger and external information and that valuations, budgets (are postings correct). Must have experience of project reconciliation, bank reconciliation, data from inception -historical data, reconciliation on a project level and accounting knowledge. Key responsibilities: Support the reconciliation project, development accountant specific in a mini project team. Escalates issues to the Head of Development Accounting and Reporting and Senior Development Finance Manager. Demonstrate an acute attention to detail and investigatory nature towards all processing, reconciliation and reporting duties, ensuring data is reviewed and discrepancies rectified on a timely basis. Ensure all processes and polices are followed correctly, ensure any changes are captured and highlight areas where these are being neglected or circumnavigated. Work with other members of the Development Finance Team to provide flexible, timely and customer focused finance services and perform any other duties as may be reasonably requested by your line manager.
