About the Role
At CGI, we are transforming how organisations deliver secure, scalable digital services, and our DevSecOps Engineers are at the heart of that change. In this role, you will design and operate resilient cloud platforms that power critical systems, embedding security and automation into every stage of the lifecycle. You will work across AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud environments, taking ownership of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and container platforms while championing DevSecOps and SRE best practices. You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and operations teams to improve reliability, performance, and delivery speed. Your responsibilities include designing and securing cloud platforms, developing and optimising deployment workflows, automating infrastructure provisioning, enhancing containerisation, embedding observability, mentoring colleagues, and driving continuous improvement. Due to the secure nature of the programme, UK Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain it is required.

Experience
- Hands-on experience in DevSecOps or SRE roles within modern cloud environments
- Proven ability to build and maintain automated deployment pipelines
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go or similar
- Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
- Demonstrable experience embedding security within DevOps practices
- Experience working with infrastructure, platforms and pipelines

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud)
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Ability to automate and provision infrastructure using IaC tooling
- Proven ability to embed security and resilience from the outset in cloud-native platforms
