Minimum 16 hours per week with fixed shifts and sessions that can be divided throughout the week based on your preferred hours. Optional additional 'ad-hoc' shifts available from 8am to 10pm across the week.
Salary
Salary based on 40 hours weekday/daytime FTE: From £60,169.30 per annum
Weekday Daytime: £6,016.93 per annum
Weekday Evening: £6,618.63 per annum
Weekends/Bank Holiday: £7,281.51 per annum
Hourly rates: Weekday daytime £28.93, Weekday evening £31.82, Weekend/bank holiday £35.01
About the Role
Doctor Care Anywhere (DCA) is the UK’s largest private provider of telehealth services, committed to delivering the best possible patient experience and clinical care through digitally enabled, evidence-based pathways. As a Digital Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), you will provide virtual consultations via DCA’s proprietary platform, confidently assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients within your professional scope. You will be responsible and accountable for your clinical decisions, working in line with organisational policies and escalating complex cases appropriately.
Your role encompasses the four pillars of advanced practice, including clinical care, education, leadership, and research/clinical governance. You will conduct comprehensive remote patient assessments, prescribe responsibly, maintain professional standards, and ensure thorough documentation. You will also engage in ongoing professional development, contribute to peer learning, support quality improvement initiatives, and uphold safeguarding protocols.
This role offers flexible working hours with fixed and optional shifts, enabling you to balance clinical duties effectively while delivering high-quality, patient-centred digital healthcare.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience as an ACP independently prescribing (post ACP qualification) in NHS Primary Care Setting/general practice within the last 5 years
- Broad autonomous scope of practice developed in a general practice setting as per the Core Capabilities for Advanced Clinical Practice framework

Qualifications
- Relevant registration with a professional body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC)
- Postgraduate diploma (Level 7) or Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or formal accreditation/credential-route aligned with regulatory framework for advanced practice
- Independent prescribing qualification
- The Fit Note (FIT) training certificate
- Minor illness training qualification (desirable)
