Minimum of 16 hours per week with fixed shifts and sessions that can be divided throughout the week based on your preferred hours. Optional additional 'ad-hoc' shifts available from 8am to 10pm across the week.
Salary
Salary based on 40 hours weekday/daytime FTE: From £60,169.30 per annum
Weekday Daytime: £6,016.93 per session
Weekday Evening: £6,618.63 per session
Weekends/Bank Holiday: £7,281.51 per session
Hourly rates: Weekday daytime £28.93, Weekday evening £31.82, Weekend/bank holiday £35.01
About the Role
Doctor Care Anywhere (DCA) is the UK’s largest private provider of telehealth services, committed to delivering the best possible patient experience and clinical care through digitally enabled, evidence-based pathways. As a Digital Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), you will provide virtual consultations via DCA’s proprietary platform, confidently assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients within your professional scope. You will be responsible and accountable for your clinical decisions, working in line with organisational policies and knowing when to escalate to senior colleagues.
Your role encompasses the four pillars of advanced practice, including clinical assessment and treatment, education and leadership, research and clinical governance, and safeguarding. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care remotely, maintain professional standards, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Sessions are flexible with fixed shifts and optional additional hours, allowing you to balance your workload effectively while working remotely in a supportive digital healthcare environment.
Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an ACP independently prescribing (post ACP qualification) in NHS Primary Care or general practice within the last 5 years.
Broad autonomous scope of practice developed in a general practice setting as per the Core Capabilities for Advanced Clinical Practice framework.

Qualifications
Relevant registration with a professional body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC).
Postgraduate diploma (Level 7) or Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or formal accreditation aligned with the regulatory framework for advanced practice.
The Fit Note (FIT) training certificate.
Independent prescribing qualification.
Minor illness training qualification (desirable).
