About the Role
As a Digital Physiotherapist at Doctor Care Anywhere, you will be the first point of contact for patients, assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of musculoskeletal and complex conditions remotely. You will provide tailored treatment plans and referrals as needed, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care through video and phone consultations on our proprietary digital platform. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help shape the future of physiotherapy by bringing exceptional care to patients via innovative telehealth services. Your role includes conducting comprehensive remote assessments, maintaining accurate patient records, signposting patients to appropriate services, and adhering to clinical governance and regulatory standards in a digital healthcare environment.
Experience
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
- Minimum of three years physiotherapy experience within the last two years in an MSK service in NHS Primary Care or General Practice, working at Level 7 or above
- Completed FCP 1 & 2 accreditation
- Experience conducting remote patient assessments (phone and video)
- Valid IR(ME)R certificate within the last 3 years
- Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner qualification (desirable)
- Independent non-medical prescribing qualification (desirable)

Qualifications & Knowledge
- Up-to-date knowledge of national prescribing policies and guidelines, and understanding of working within the scope of professional practice (desirable)
- Knowledge of clinical governance principles as applied to remote working and digital healthcare (desirable)
- Proficiency with clinical IT systems (ideally Jira and Teams/Slack)
- Understanding and implementation of Mental Health Legislation (Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005) and safeguarding policies
- Ability to identify vulnerable patients and complete safeguarding referrals in accordance with local and national policies
