About the Role
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking an experienced Dresser to join the London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, this acclaimed play premiered in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016. After ten record-breaking years as a two-part theatrical event, the production will evolve into a reimagined single performance format this autumn.
As a Dresser on this first-class West End production, your duties will include maintaining costumes, reporting repairs to the wardrobe team, and ensuring the design integrity of the production is preserved. You will be expected to perform all responsibilities typical of a Dresser on a large-scale theatre production, working closely with the wardrobe department to support smooth performances.
The contract is initially for one year with a rolling extension, starting August/September 2026. All applicants must be able to commit to the full contract period.

- Understanding of sewing techniques is ideal
Qualifications
