Hours
Full time, 36 hours plus 4 additional hours supplement (AHS). Your hours of work will be from 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, 5 out of 7 days per week.

Salary
£33,085.56 per annum (£29,777 per annum pro rata plus £3,308.56 for 4 hours additional hours supplement)

Our small, friendly, and dedicated warehouse team provides essential support to our retail shops and ecommerce business located in iconic landmarks in and around London and Northern Ireland.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will work as part of a close team to help ensure our deliveries arrive on time and 100% intact to the palace shops. Driving experience up to and including a 3500kg van is essential. You will assist with picking and packing for shop and e-commerce orders, general housekeeping, and completing system-based administration related to these tasks. You will also answer queries and alert the warehouse manager to any issues for prompt resolution.

You will be required to drive the delivery van through central London delivering to our three main sites.

This is a 6 month seasonal contract within the Commercial Services department, Home Palace, Warehouse Croydon.

Experience
Experience in driving up to and including a 3500kg van is essential. Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage.

About you
You will have a full clean driving licence and be able to demonstrate competence in accuracy and numeracy, including basic PC skills. Good communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential. You should work well under pressure, remain calm and flexible, and be an effective team player.
