£41,818.21 per annum plus an additional 5% salary in recognition of shift and weekend working, plus an additional £3,000 in allowances per annum
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Wandsworth, a category B male prison. You will be part of a supportive and driven team working Monday to Sunday to maintain a safe and secure environment. HMP Wandsworth operates like a self-contained city, and the Facilities Maintenance Team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the site. You will work alongside experienced colleagues including plumbers, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators, all committed to making a positive difference.

Experience
- Minimum two years' experience working as an electrician
- Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
- Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations

Qualifications
- Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Certificate in BS7671
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
