Salary
£43,177.30 per annum with an additional 5% basic salary in recognition of shift and weekend work, plus £3,000 per annum in allowances

HMP Feltham operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of people to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting every prisoner, employee, visitor, and the wider community.
As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues including Plumbers, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a safe and secure environment.

Experience
- Minimum two years' experience as a fully qualified electrician
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
- Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
- Strong Health & Safety awareness

Qualifications
- Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S), for example 2367 or 2357
