About the Role
Join our Global Credit Automated Trading Strategies desk in London as an Electronic Risk Manager. This front office Associate role is ideal for individuals passionate about finance and eager to set and achieve challenging goals within a dynamic trading floor environment. You will be instrumental in managing electronic Credit Trading Algorithms, servicing institutional and corporate accounts. The role demands proactive involvement in managing risk, liquidity, and exposure while driving all aspects of trading desk operations including pre-trade analysis, trade execution, and designing optimal risk management strategies for large trades. Key responsibilities include overseeing price delivery, risk management, and data analytics for our Electronic Global Credit franchise; responding to day-to-day client requests to ensure high service levels; maintaining a deep understanding of market drivers and developments; performing detailed data analysis related to business and revenue drivers; and implementing the firm's policies for managing risks associated with credit trading.

Requirements

Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Some experience in Global Credit Trading or a closely related area is required. Strong grasp of fundamental and technical aspects of traded products with the ability to anticipate market movements. Proficient understanding of the transaction cycle and execution strategies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior management. Adept at communicating complex concepts at all organizational levels. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and focus. Self-directed, highly motivated, and capable of working independently. Experience managing client relationships directly is a plus.

Qualifications
Proficiency in Python or other programming languages is highly desirable. Strong data analysis skills with the ability to present findings clearly. This role involves UK regulated activity; therefore, the successful candidate must meet UK regulatory requirements related to fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence, and may require approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
