About the Role
Join the EMEA Disclosure of Interest (DOI) team and play a key role in ensuring the Firm meets critical regulatory disclosure obligations. You will collaborate closely with Compliance partners and business stakeholders to manage time-sensitive, high-impact disclosures. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build strong regulatory knowledge, deepen controls expertise, and grow within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

As a member of the EMEA DOI team, you will be responsible for disclosing the Firm's principal and fiduciary holdings to satisfy EMEA regulatory requirements and respond to enquiries from regulators, internal parties, and issuers. Your duties will include monitoring and disclosing positions and trades, supporting controls and quality assurance processes, and responding to queries from Compliance and the business. You will liaise with key stakeholders to manage trading restrictions and approvals, escalating potential issues as necessary.

Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and disclosing positions/trades in accordance with takeover regulations, short selling, and major shareholding filings
- Representing Controls and Quality Assurance in regional management meetings
- Liaising with other Compliance areas (e.g. Control Room, Lines of Business) regarding trading restrictions, approvals, and potential breaches
- Preventing breaches of ownership thresholds and managing holdings restrictions for specific industries or additional notification obligations (e.g. energy companies in Spain, strategic enterprises in Russia)
- Collaborating with Control Room and LoB Compliance to restrict or manage trading activity when necessary
- Responding to queries from Compliance or the Business, including position searches to assist with conflicts of interest checks and advising on disclosure requirements
- Keeping up to date with regulatory changes impacting disclosure rules
- Acting as a central contact for financial regulators regarding questions or queries
- Advising the offshore DOI team and serving as the first point of escalation and engagement

Requirements

Experience
Basic knowledge of a broad range of financial instruments, including equity derivatives. Experience working in a financial institution and familiarity with DOI functions and systems is advantageous but not essential.

About you
You are a self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision. You can multi-task and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment. You are a results-oriented team player with a consistent track record of driving tasks quickly and accurately to completion. You possess strong problem-solving skills and can make autonomous decisions when required. Exceptional research and analytical skills are essential, including the ability to analyze large data sets, identify higher risk attributes (transactional, geographical, product, customer type, etc.), and take appropriate action. You have strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills and are proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). You demonstrate strong documentation skills to clearly and accurately articulate alert dispositions.

Qualifications
While no specific qualifications are mandated, a background in financial services compliance or related fields is beneficial. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
