About the Role
Neuberger Berman, a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager founded in 1939, is seeking an experienced EMEA Resilience Risk Manager to join the Operational Risk and Resilience team in London. This role is critical in supporting the evolving regulatory landscape across EMEA, focusing on operational resilience compliance, testing, and third-party oversight. You will act as a key liaison between local and global business functions on risk and resilience matters and support the execution of operational risk and resilience frameworks aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include identifying and managing operational and resilience risks, developing solutions, and re-engineering processes to prevent future control weaknesses. The role requires collaboration across business management, risk, and control teams globally, with regular engagement at board and senior management levels.
Primary Responsibilities
Operational Resilience
Manage and maintain resilience policies and procedures including Operational Resilience policy, self-assessment documents, Digital Resilience strategy, and ICT Risk Management Framework. Enhance the operational resilience programme in line with global regulations, including key risk indicator collection and Board reporting. Conduct annual refresh of important business services, resource mapping, and impact tolerance statements. Lead scenario testing for important business services and investigate BCP and Technology-related operational risk events with root cause analysis and control assessments. Identify vulnerabilities and oversee issue resolution. Maintain and develop the BCP and Resilience system (Fusion). Serve as subject matter expert on resilience matters and regulatory changes. Lead global resilience projects and provide reporting to the EMEA Risk and Compliance Committee and relevant Boards.
Business Continuity
Manage business continuity policies and procedures, including Business Continuity plans and Executive Group Response Plan. Implement and maintain a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) programme meeting regulatory requirements. Develop and coordinate Business Continuity testing programmes and global/regional tabletop exercises with Technology teams. Manage Business Continuity incidents ensuring appropriate response and communications. Train key stakeholders on business continuity responsibilities. Oversee third-party due diligence processes and bespoke questionnaire creation.
ICT Risk Governance
Oversee the ICT Risk Framework in partnership with the first line IT Risk function, including annual refresh of Critical and Important Functions (DORA). Chair the ICT Risk Governance Committee providing input and challenge. Support DORA incident reporting and Information Register processes. Collaborate with Information Security to ensure cyber-security resilience.
Experience
2-5 years minimum experience in an asset or investment management firm within operational/IT risk, BCP, Resilience, or internal audit teams.

Qualifications
