About the Role
Neuberger Berman, a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager founded in 1939, is seeking an experienced EMEA Resilience Risk Manager to join the Operational Risk and Resilience team based in London. This role is critical in supporting the evolving regulatory landscape across EMEA, where operational resilience is now a mandatory requirement with enforceable standards. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between local and global business functions on risk and resilience matters and provide core support for the execution of operational risk and resilience frameworks in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.

The role involves identifying and managing operational and resilience risks, developing solutions, and re-engineering processes to prevent future control and process weaknesses. You will challenge and coordinate front-to-back business management and collaborate closely with risk, support, and control colleagues globally. Regular engagement with the Board and senior management is required.

Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining resilience policies and procedures such as the Operational Resilience policy, self-assessment documents, Digital Resilience strategy, and ICT Risk Management Framework. You will enhance the operational resilience program by collecting key risk indicators, reporting to the Board, conducting scenario testing, investigating operational risk events, and maintaining the BCP and Resilience system. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will review regulatory changes, run global resilience projects, and provide reporting to relevant committees and Boards.

In addition, you will manage business continuity policies and procedures, including Business Continuity plans, Business Impact Analysis programs, testing programs, and incident management. Coordination of global and regional tabletop exercises and oversight of third-party due diligence processes are also key aspects of the role.

Oversight of the ICT Risk Framework and chairing the ICT Risk Governance Committee are essential, alongside partnering with IT Risk and Information Security teams to ensure cyber-security resilience.

This is a pivotal role for a motivated professional looking to make a significant impact within a leading global investment firm.
