About the Role
If you are passionate, curious and ready to make an impact, we are looking for you. As an Analyst or Associate in our Corporate and Private Side Sales Equity and Credit team, you will support episodic transactions as part of the private side markets business. You will assist in originating, structuring, and negotiating tailored private credit transactions for corporate clients and funds. This role involves close collaboration with investment banking departments and trading desks, ensuring a unique and dynamic position within the firm. You will support the development and expansion of the private credit product offering, focusing on alternative and illiquid structures. Partnering with marketers, salesforce, investment bankers, capital markets bankers, and traders, you will help structure and distribute transactions. Additionally, you will assist in opening up distribution channels within the private credit market through in-person engagement and product education of the public side syndicate and sales functions. You will also work closely with control functions including market, credit and reputation risk, compliance, legal, accounting, and tax teams.

Experience
Relevant work experience in investment banking or private capital markets in a front office role. Exposure to clients and counterparties, including portfolio managers in funds or senior management in corporates. Understanding of complex financing arrangements and private credit products.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and, where appropriate, approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
