£33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We’re currently recruiting for an Employment Adviser to join our amazing team. You will provide advice and support to guide and encourage participants to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. You'll manage a caseload of participants, guiding them on their journey to employment, acting as their coach and mentor, and building strong positive relationships to help customers obtain sustainable employment. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be target-driven, and possess a high level of initiative and motivation with the ability to seek out solutions to problems. This is a rewarding role that will allow you to utilise your current skills to influence and support others while also allowing us to benefit from your unique experiences.
Experience
A good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations, basic knowledge of self-employment, fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes, experience of working in a target-driven environment, experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
About you
Excellent people person with very competent communication skills, able to organise and conduct job searches, identify potential barriers to employment, and ensure all paper-based employability tools such as covering letters and CVs are in place.
Qualifications
Knowledge of the employability and recruitment industries is desirable. Experience of working with people in the provision of ‘information, advice & guidance’ is also a plus. A full driving licence is preferred.
