About the Role
The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest funder for the UK’s heritage, with a vision for heritage to be valued, cared for and sustained for everyone, now and in the future. Our mission is to use our expertise to support and champion the UK’s heritage and demonstrate the transformative potential of National Lottery funding through delivering our new strategy Heritage 2033. We ensure that money from The National Lottery makes a decisive difference for people, places and communities.

We are recruiting a full-time Engagement Manager to join our Engagement Team, delivering engagement activity across the London and South area. This role involves stimulating and supporting the flow of good quality applications, working in areas of underinvestment as required, and contributing to and implementing outreach strategies targeted at Heritage 2033 priorities. You will also contribute to the wider work of the London and South team.

Flexible Working
We champion a flexible approach to working that supports our business needs. We have adopted a hybrid working model where most employees work from their contracted Heritage Fund office at least twice a week. Time spent on site visits or meetings at other offices counts towards these days. Other days may be worked from home.

Experience
Experience in engagement, outreach or community-focused roles is desirable. Proven ability to stimulate and support applications and work effectively in areas of underinvestment is advantageous.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in heritage, community engagement, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
