About the Role
Decanter is the world's leading wine media brand, inspiring and connecting wine lovers and trade professionals through award-winning journalism, digital content, the world's largest wine competition and world-class events. From the internationally renowned Decanter Fine Wine Encounters to the intimate Decanter Presents tasting series and exciting new regional launches, our events bring together some of the world's most celebrated producers and passionate wine enthusiasts. We are seeking an experienced Events Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day marketing of this growing portfolio, delivering creative, commercially focused campaigns that drive ticket sales and audience engagement.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and optimising integrated marketing campaigns across Decanter's global events portfolio. Working closely with editorial, commercial, design, digital and events teams, you will bring campaigns to life across email, digital, social media, partnerships, content and events, helping shape memorable experiences for thousands of attendees worldwide.
This is a varied, hands-on role requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver projects independently and identify opportunities to continually improve campaign performance. You will play a key role in the continued growth of one of the wine industry's most respected global events portfolios, collaborating with expert editorial and commercial teams to lead the marketing of internationally recognised events.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in events marketing or multi-channel marketing, with responsibility for delivering commercial and experiential marketing campaigns.
- Proven track record marketing live events with responsibility for driving ticket sales and audience growth.
- Experience planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across email, website, social media, partnerships and content marketing.
- Proficient in using CRM, email marketing and CMS platforms to deliver campaigns and maintain engaging, accurate website content.
- Confident using Google Workspace and creative tools such as Canva.
- Experience producing clear, detailed briefs for designers, photographers and videographers to deliver high-quality marketing assets.
- Experience managing paid digital marketing campaigns, marketing budgets and campaign performance reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy across websites, email campaigns and customer communications.

Qualifications
- WSET Level 3 qualification (or above), or equivalent wine industry knowledge, is highly desirable.
