About the Role
We are looking for an Event Operations Executive to play a key role in delivering world-class matchday and event experiences at Emirates Stadium. Working across planning and live delivery, you'll support the operational delivery of our fixtures and major events while helping create memorable supporter experiences that bring our club's vision and brand to life.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting matchday planning and delivery by working closely with the Event Operations Manager to coordinate the planning and execution of matchdays, ensuring seamless delivery through effective stakeholder management. You will enhance the supporter experience by helping deliver engaging matchday activations, live entertainment, production support, and innovative fan engagement initiatives.
You will manage matchday programmes and staffing, overseeing the casual matchday workforce, ball squad programme, mascot programme, and Gunnersaurus operations to ensure exceptional experiences and smooth event delivery. Additionally, you will coordinate community and special events, working with internal teams to create bespoke community experiences and support major events including cup finals and related activations.
Maintaining stakeholder and governing body relationships is key, liaising with football authorities, clubs, suppliers, and partners to ensure matchday activities meet operational and regulatory requirements. You will oversee accreditation and compliance processes, managing supplier accreditation, risk assessments, and health & safety documentation to support safe and compliant event operations.
As an advocate for our supporters, you will use audience insights to shape experiences, communications, and matchday messaging. You will also drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by reviewing supporter feedback, operational performance, and industry best practice to identify opportunities to enhance matchday operations and supporter experiences.
