About the Role
As Event Project Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider leadership team to support the planning and delivery of Project Farm’s retail, placemaking, public realm and brand activation experiences. This role is suited to someone with previous events experience who is ready to take the next step in their career, developing greater ownership across project delivery, client management and commercial awareness. You will support a portfolio of property and place-based clients across the retail and public realm division and take ownership of selected projects and activations from briefing through to completion. You will work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, venue teams and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Alongside Project Farm projects, you will also support delivery across selected corporate bookings at Drumsheds, offering exposure to venue operations and live event environments.

Project Farm is a project management company focused on creating seamless, safe, impressive and impactful experiences across retail, placemaking, public realm, large-scale project management, event production, facilities management and venue operations. Based at Drumsheds, we collaborate with Broadwick’s music team but operate independently.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Client Management:
- Support planning and delivery of retail, placemaking and public realm activations from brief through to completion
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted day-to-day contact
- Create and manage project budgets aligned with client expectations and commercial targets
- Support proposals, pitches and RFP responses including budgeting and planning
- Lead and attend project meetings, ensuring clear communication and documentation
- Conduct post-event debriefs and implement learnings for future projects
Event Delivery & Operations:
- Take ownership of small to medium-scale event delivery including supplier coordination, logistics, staffing and on-site management
- Manage project timelines and escalate challenges proactively
- Coordinate staffing requirements and maintain supplier relationships
- Attend site visits and contribute to operational planning and venue management
- Develop knowledge of repeat client sites to improve delivery and efficiencies
- Follow and implement health and safety procedures and documentation
- Coordinate event logistics, supplier schedules and movement of assets
- Support applications for permits, permissions and council approvals
- Work with production suppliers and maintain understanding of AV, power, staging and lighting requirements
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience within the events industry
- Experience supporting and independently delivering small to medium-scale events and activations from planning through execution
- Strong administration and organisational skills including budget and financial tracking
- Experience coordinating suppliers, staffing teams and external stakeholders
- Good understanding of event operations, logistics, health & safety processes, risk assessments and event compliance
- Confidence communicating with clients and managing expectations
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and collaborative working style
- Commercial awareness and proactive problem-solving approach
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace and ability to learn new systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel as required
