About the Role
As an Event Technology Executive, you will play a key role in delivering seamless, high-quality scheduling and networking experiences across our global hosted-buyer events. You will support the smooth operation of our event-technology platforms, ensuring buyers and suppliers connect effortlessly through personalised meeting schedules. Working closely with Operations, Customer Experience, Marketing, and external technology partners, you will configure platforms, troubleshoot issues, and build tailored meeting programmes that elevate the client experience. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you will combine technical capability with practical problem-solving to help deliver market-leading events.

You will be a core member of the Event Technology Team, contributing directly to the success of our M&I, Private Luxury Events, and TFest brands by ensuring our technology consistently performs at the highest standard. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Event Technology Manager.

Key responsibilities include:
- Masterfully configuring and operating our state-of-the-art networking platform to meet the unique needs of each event and its delegates.
- Managing delegate profiles and fine-tuning personalised meeting schedules to ensure a seamless, productive, and engaging experience.
- Acting as a key bridge between teams, aligning platform operations with event goals and client needs.
- Adapting to last-minute changes and optimising schedules in real-time within dynamic environments.
- Providing on-site and remote support to ensure smooth event operations, troubleshoot issues, and suggest AI-driven improvements to enhance delegate experiences.

Responsibilities
Platform Management
Set up and run the networking platform (Grip) for events. Liaise with departments to meet publication deadlines, provide internal training, guidance on platform processes, and support new functionalities. Ensure event-specific requirements are met and signed off. Perform quality control including accuracy of delegate profiles and grammar/spelling reviews.

Meeting Scheduling
Create and tailor meeting schedules, ensuring the best possible matches for delegates. Consider all meeting preferences in a timely manner and adjust schedules based on client feedback before and during events.

Remote Support for Events
Ensure smooth running of the networking platform and meetings. Improve schedules with delegate feedback and action last-minute content changes as required.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in a similar event technology or operations role within meetings, events, hospitality, or related industries. Hands-on experience with event technology platforms such as Grip, Cvent, or similar registration/agenda management systems. Familiarity with survey tools like Survicate or SurveyMonkey is also expected.

About you
AI-first thinker with routine use of large language models (Copilot, ChatGPT) to support critical thinking, troubleshooting, and solution-finding. Strong technical capability including confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Exceptional attention to detail with a logical, problem-solving mindset and commitment to accuracy. Proactive, calm, and flexible approach able to manage evolving business and client requirements while delivering multiple projects to deadline without compromising quality. Clear communication and collaboration skills with confidence to build relationships across departments and work effectively with technical teams. Excellent written and spoken English alongside strong organisational and time-management skills.

Qualifications
Desirable qualifications and experience include familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data analysis. Experience using platforms such as Salesforce. Ability to produce process documentation, user guides, SOPs, and deliver user training or technical support to internal or external stakeholders. Exposure to project management and collaboration tools such as Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar.
