About the Role
Create events that influence conversations, build relationships and drive business growth. Are you an experienced Events Manager who thrives on delivering high-impact events that make a real commercial difference? We're looking for a strategic, ambitious and highly organised Events Manager to lead an exciting programme of industry-leading events across the UK healthcare sector. This is a unique opportunity to shape how a growing consultancy engages with senior decision-makers, industry leaders and key stakeholders through exceptional event experiences. From exclusive roundtables and thought leadership forums to major exhibitions and conferences, you'll take ownership of an influential events programme that strengthens relationships, generates new opportunities and enhances market presence.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a forward-thinking events strategy that supports business development, client engagement and brand visibility. This is far more than event logistics. You'll play a key commercial role in identifying opportunities, building influential relationships and ensuring every event delivers measurable business value. If you're someone who enjoys taking ownership, influencing senior stakeholders and seeing the tangible impact of your work, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and deliver an annual programme of conferences, exhibitions, networking events, executive roundtables and hosted experiences. Identify and evaluate high-value event opportunities that support business growth and market visibility. Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of events, managing venues, suppliers, speakers, exhibitors, budgets, communications and logistics. Represent the business at industry events, creating meaningful connections with senior healthcare professionals and decision-makers. Build strong relationships with event organisers, partners, industry influencers and stakeholders across the healthcare sector. Generate qualified business opportunities through event activity, supporting the wider business development strategy. Identify speaking opportunities and thought leadership content that strengthens market profile and supports future events. Track leads, contacts and outcomes through the CRM system. Measure event performance, engagement, lead generation and return on investment, using insight to continuously improve future activity.
Experience
Proven experience planning and delivering conferences, exhibitions, hosted events, executive roundtables or networking events. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence working alongside senior leaders. Commercial awareness and experience measuring event success through engagement, lead generation and ROI.
About you
A proactive, hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail. The ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where ideas and initiative are valued. Experience within healthcare, the NHS or wider public sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated; however, relevant experience and a commercial mindset are essential.
