About the Role
This unique hybrid role combines executive support with editorial content creation. Working closely with the executive team and alongside our Content Editor, you will help keep the business running smoothly while contributing to the editorial output of Superyachts.com and client content projects. You will play an active role in researching the superyacht industry, identifying engaging story ideas, developing unique editorial angles and writing high-quality feature articles that resonate with our audience. Alongside producing several stories each week, you will help shape long-term editorial plans for clients, creating content strategies that align with their brand, projects and objectives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, is naturally curious and can spot the story behind a yacht launch, design innovation or industry trend. You will combine creativity with organisation, balancing editorial work alongside executive support in a fast-paced luxury media environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing executive and administrative support to the leadership team
- Researching the superyacht industry to uncover compelling feature ideas and editorial opportunities
- Developing original story angles and writing engaging blog articles and features for Superyachts.com
- Producing approximately three to four editorial stories each week, maintaining a consistently high standard of writing
- Assisting in the development of editorial calendars and long-term content plans for clients
- Collaborating with colleagues to create content strategies that support client campaigns and business objectives
- Liaising with shipyards, designers, PR agencies and industry partners to source information, imagery and interview opportunities
- Supporting social media, newsletters and wider digital content initiatives
- Coordinating executive schedules, meetings, travel and day-to-day business administration
- Providing project support across international events and client activations
Experience
Previous experience in executive support, editorial content creation or a related field is highly desirable. Strong writing skills and an interest in the superyacht industry are essential.
About you
You must live in London, UK and be available to start immediately. You should be naturally curious, organised, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A passion for writing and storytelling, combined with strong communication and research skills, is important. You must have a valid passport and be admissible to the USA.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but a background in media, communications, journalism or a related discipline will be advantageous.
