About the Role
The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) investigates and prosecutes serious and complex financial crime, delivering justice for victims and enhancing the reputation of the UK as a safe place to do business. The SFO is a non-ministerial government department accountable to the Attorney General and employs about 500 civil servants. We tackle top-tier fraud, bribery and corruption across multiple international jurisdictions, combining the expertise of lawyers, investigators, forensic accountants, specialist counsel and other experts who work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the SFO as an Executive Assistant (EA). You will provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Head of Division, enabling them to perform their duties efficiently. The role includes full diary and email inbox management, handling incoming correspondence and telephone enquiries, arranging travel and accommodation, organising and attending meetings, producing documents and briefing materials, and supporting colleagues and senior managers with other duties as required.
Successful candidates will be resourceful, proactive and possess excellent planning and organisational skills. Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
Experience
Proven experience providing executive support to senior leaders, including full diary management and handling complex correspondence. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders is highly desirable.

You are proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively. You communicate clearly and confidently in writing, in person and over the phone. You exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. You are flexible and willing to support colleagues and senior managers as needed.
Qualifications
There are no specific qualification requirements for this role; however, strong administrative skills and relevant experience supporting senior executives are essential.
