About the Role
Join the City of London Corporation as an Executive Assistant to the Financial Services Director within the Chamberlain's Office. This varied and rewarding role places you at the heart of one of the Corporation's largest and most influential departments. Acting as a trusted partner, you will provide high-quality executive support, managing a complex and demanding diary, coordinating high-profile meetings, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day business. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders including elected Members, Chief Officers, senior colleagues, and external partners.

Beyond traditional executive support, you will actively contribute to departmental projects, leadership meetings, colleague engagement activities, and internal communications. Responsibilities include preparing briefings, reports, and presentations, organising key events, maintaining effective information management systems, and supporting the delivery of priorities across the Financial Services Directorate.

You will be part of a fast-paced, close-knit, and supportive Business Support Team that collaborates to deliver high-quality support enabling effective leadership, governance, and service delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to strategic decision-making and the inner workings of the Corporation’s financial leadership.

Proven experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings, and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
