Description
The Royal College of Art, the world’s leading art and design institution, is seeking an Executive Education Coordinator to join our team on a maternity cover basis, starting Mid December 2024 for up to one year. Please note this role could end sooner should the substantive post holder return sooner than expected. This exciting, business-facing role will involve the planning and delivery of The RCA’s Executive Education open programmes, including summer courses, masterclasses, and bespoke initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding the Executive Education department’s offerings while ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained and financial goals are met. This role is based at our state-of-the-art facility in Battersea. We follow a hybrid way of working, on site a minimum of 3 days per week - although flexibility is needed when events are being run to meet business needs and could include presence on site more days and working outside of usual hours. Key Responsibilities As the Executive Education Coordinator, you will: Plan and Manage Programmes: Take ownership of the annual schedule for RCA’s Executive Education open short courses (both online and in person), collaborating with internal academic and administrative teams. Event Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of executive education events, managing logistics such as client bookings, invoicing, room and equipment bookings, catering, and staffing with support from internal teams and student/graduate ambassadors. Business Development: Work closely with Schools, Centres, and the Head of Executive Education to expand and diversify RCA’s Executive Education offerings, increasing income and building key relationships with external partners and stakeholders. Communications: Create engaging marketing content, write event plans and proposals, and manage enquiries and bookings for the Executive Education programme. You will also contribute to the development of RCA’s website content and marketing strategies. Financial Management: Ensure that all programmes are delivered within budget, managing day-to-day financial processes such as invoicing and reporting, and contributing to management accounts and end-of-project reports. Key Objectives Embed Executive Education within The RCA’s revenue-generating activities and widen the pool of tutors. Expand and successfully manage the open Executive Education portfolio, delivering an excellent customer experience. Maintain and grow annual revenue, meeting the college’s Research, Knowledge Exchange, and Innovation (RKE) targets. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to The RCA’s globally respected Executive Education department, helping to shape the future of creative education and professional development. We have great benefits and if your values align with ours: Curiosity, Inclusion, Collaboration and Integrity – we would like to hear from you. Closing date for applications is: 11.59pm on 27th October 2024 Interviews are likely to be held: 4th November 2024
