Location
Ealing, London. Successful candidates will be appointed to a particular DWP office but may be required to travel regularly to other DWP premises or locations within a reasonable daily commute. This role is fully office based and cannot be worked remotely or overseas. Relocation costs will not be reimbursed.
Hours
DWP contracts are based on a 42-hour week; however, you will work 37 hours (36 hours for existing DWP staff based in London under certain circumstances). You may be required to work any time between 7:45 am and 8:00 pm Monday to Friday, and 8:45 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday. A working pattern that meets business needs will be agreed once you start. New recruits must work full time during training and consolidation periods. Part-time and job share patterns may be available after training but must meet business needs.
Salary
£37,016 per annum. The Department for Work and Pensions contributes 28.97% towards the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.

The Executive Officer Recruitment Consultant role is dynamic and rewarding, working closely with employers and partners to identify recruitment solutions and connect jobseekers with sustainable employment opportunities.
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will build strong relationships with local employers to understand their workforce needs and develop practical recruitment solutions. You will help people move into work, remain in work, and progress in their careers by collaborating with employers, local partners, training providers, and internal colleagues.
You will spend significant time engaging directly with employers, building networks, identifying recruitment opportunities, and influencing businesses to recruit through DWP services. You will also support work coaches and colleagues to build confidence in the labour market and assist customers in overcoming barriers to employment.
This role involves promoting vacancies through digital channels, gathering and analysing employer and customer insight, and contributing to stronger local economies by supporting inclusive recruitment and skills development aligned with local labour market needs.

Experience
Proactive experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, partners, and colleagues. Experience in understanding employer needs and developing recruitment solutions is desirable. Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared objectives is important.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required; however, you may be required to undertake a work-based qualification or apprenticeship to develop professional knowledge and skills. Full participation in training and professional development is expected.
Additional Requirements
You must be able to work on-site at the assigned Jobcentre location and engage with stakeholders and customers face-to-face, as well as via telephony and digital channels. You must be able to work full time during the training and consolidation period (minimum six weeks). Reasonable adjustments will be provided to support completion of these requirements.
