About the Role
You will be joining our Children’s Centre teams, playing a vital role in supporting families with children primarily aged 0-5. As a Family Engagement Worker, you will assess family need and develop family plans to improve outcomes through outreach, home visits, and delivery of evidence-based programmes. The focus will be on the home learning environment, parent-infant relationships, perinatal mental health, and parenting capacity. You may also support universal group sessions depending on capacity within the children’s centre. This is a new and developing role, and you will contribute to the development of practice guidance and recording. There are 5 full-time positions available across different children’s centres, starting in October or as soon as possible.
Experience
Experience working with children aged 0-5, including those with emerging or additional needs. Experience in assessing family needs and delivering interventions in community settings including home visits.

Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Childcare, Health & Social Care or related field OR significant relevant experience.
