Hours
9-hour shifts between 06:00 and 22:00, Monday to Friday, during Term Time only. Flexibility and reliability are essential to support the small team.

Salary
£14.00 per hour

About the Role
This active role requires ensuring the security and safety of client premises and persons on a college campus. You will work as part of a team in a modern, fast-paced environment carrying out duties including access control, security patrols, incident response, detecting suspicious behaviour, preventing vandalism, theft or other criminal activity, dealing with queries and providing excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include report writing, completing daily operational paperwork, complying with all company and client procedures and policies, following managerial directives, and maintaining high standards of professionalism. There is an occupational requirement for female officers due to the need to search female staff and visitors entering and leaving the site.

Experience
- Previous security experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to provide a 5-year checkable work history.

- Flexible according to roster requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good customer service skills.
- Maintain excellent attendance and timekeeping.
- Computer literate.
- Eligibility to work within the UK.

Qualifications
- SIA Security/Door Supervisor licence (essential).
- Valid First Aid Certificate (desirable).
