About the Role
As Triptease's Finance Operations Manager, you will own a broad operational finance remit across our international group, working closely with the Financial Controller and leading the Finance Assistant. This hands-on role involves the accurate and timely execution of day-to-day finance operations including payroll, accounts payable, cashflow management, VAT compliance, cost analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also play an active role in improving and automating finance processes to create efficiencies and reduce manual effort.
You will support the Financial Controller in producing monthly management accounts, focusing on P&L preparation, variance analysis, and commentary. You will manage payroll across multiple entities (UK, Spain, Portugal, USA, Singapore, and contractors via Deel), oversee VAT and sales tax compliance, maintain cashflow forecasts, and ensure timely invoice processing and payments. Additional responsibilities include coordinating insurance programs, preparing cost analysis and accruals, managing a defined set of balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting finance system management and improvements.
Maintaining and improving financial controls and documented processes within your remit is essential, as is managing the Finance Assistant by setting priorities, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative team environment. You will also handle financial reporting and cashflow management for Marketing Events and respond to operational finance queries and ad hoc projects as required.
