About the Role
As Triptease's Finance Operations Manager, you will own a broad operational finance remit across our international group, working closely with the Financial Controller and leading the Finance Assistant. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of day-to-day finance operations spanning payroll, accounts payable, cashflow, VAT compliance, cost analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Main responsibilities include end-to-end management of the payroll process across multiple entities (UK, Spain, Portugal, USA, Singapore, and contractors), oversight of the accounts payable function ensuring invoices are processed, approved, and paid accurately and on time, and assisting with migrations to new HR, payroll, and finance systems. You will also handle sales tax and VAT submissions, pensions, payroll and PAYE control account reconciliations, wages analysis to support headcount reporting and cost control, preparation and maintenance of cost analysis files with variance explanations, accruals for missing costs, and collaboration with the marketing team to record expected income, costs, and cashflow timings.
Daily management of the Finance Assistant and responding to operational finance queries across the business will also be part of your role, alongside supporting ad hoc projects and analysis as directed by the Financial Controller or wider finance leadership.
