About the Role
This role is integral to supporting the Financial Reporting team by ensuring key financial processes are well-controlled and managed. Responsibilities include managing the half yearly results process, quarterly joint venture reporting, Statutory Accounts preparation, and Corporation Tax returns, while supporting the wider Group Finance team. You will gain broad exposure across the Group Finance function and reporting cycle, working closely with various teams and contributing to key financial reporting and control processes. The role offers excellent learning and development opportunities, including in-house training sessions to enhance your technical and commercial understanding of the business.
Key duties include performing quarterly analytical reviews comparing actual performance against budget and forecast, preparing and posting quarter-end journals such as prepayments, deferred income, depreciation, and tenant incentive accounting entries. You will coordinate the quarterly joint venture reporting process, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, support financial controls during the half-yearly reporting process, draft statutory accounts disclosures, and coordinate reviews with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will support audit processes, act as a key contact for lease incentive accounting and balance sheet working capital items, provide ad hoc financial support including covenant assessments, and develop a strong understanding of the Group’s corporate structure and accounting considerations.
Experience
Newly qualified Accountant (ICAEW or equivalent) with audit experience at a top accounting firm. Proven experience auditing statutory accounts and preparing clear, well-structured schedules and supporting documentation. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are essential.

Confident in analysing complex transactions and identifying key issues and considerations.
Qualifications
Qualified Accountant (ICAEW or equivalent) is required.
