About the Role
Join Amazon MGM Studios as we expand our theatrical distribution globally. We are building a best-in-class finance organization from the ground up to support international theatrical operations. This is an opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a new operation while working with content that reaches millions of viewers worldwide. As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of Amazon MGM's theatrical expansion, partnering directly with distribution and marketing teams to support financial operations.

Key responsibilities include serving as the in-territory point of contact for Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay support, coordinating across Distribution, Marketing, and FinOps teams. You will support AR FinOps by monitoring accounts receivable performance, identifying variances and trends, and providing territory-specific insights on booking history, exhibitor relationships, and territory dynamics. Additionally, you will assist the Distribution/Sales team with theater setup in the DEX system and manual entry of Box Office Reports when automated feeds are unavailable.

You will maintain data integrity between the DEX booking system and downstream financial systems, coordinating with the AR FinOps Cash Application team on payment discrepancies. Monitoring exhibitor accounts for credit issues and financial risk indicators and escalating concerns to Distribution and Finance stakeholders will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will support month-end close activities and reconciliation processes and provide training on Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes to local teams, including documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

As a member of the International Theatrical Finance team, you will help build the financial infrastructure for our global theatrical expansion. Our team combines innovation with the resources and scale of Amazon, creating an environment where your contributions directly impact how audiences worldwide experience our content.
