About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Financial Assessment and Inclusion team in Adult Social Care. You will be part of an exciting team that manages the financial assessment process for clients receiving Adult Social Care services. The team is responsible for financial assessment and benefit maximisation for all care service recipients, as well as administering, monitoring, and processing payments to care providers. The role involves working collaboratively with Adult Social Care colleagues, internal teams, and external stakeholders. Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working within a finance and customer service team in the adult social care sector. Demonstrable welfare benefit knowledge is essential.

About you
You are pro-active, ambitious, analytical, and a problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude. You are willing to work collaboratively with other departments and teams and ready to take on challenges. Knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and charging principles for social care services is desirable.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience related to financial assessment, welfare benefits, or adult social care are advantageous but not explicitly required. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is expected.
