About the Role
At Nuffield Health, we are committed to building a healthier nation by combining our expertise in fitness and wellbeing with award-winning healthcare services. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months, offering an opportunity to join our central Finance team in a senior FP&A role. As FP&A Manager, you will own the budgeting and forecasting cycle, lead month-end reporting to the Executive Committee and Board, and provide strategic financial insight to support sound decision-making across the charity.

Working closely with the FP&A Director, you will help shape the medium-term plan and drive improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage directly with senior stakeholders throughout the budget cycle to challenge assumptions, manage risks, and support operational decision-making
- Build and maintain financial models to test scenarios, inform strategic choices, and support planning under uncertainty
- Produce and own financial packs for ExCo and Board meetings, delivering clear performance commentary and variance analysis
- Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities, tracking actions and escalating as required to keep the organisation on track
- Develop and maintain KPIs and benchmarks to track financial and operational performance, including monitoring the external market and competitor landscape
- Support the medium-term strategic plan by developing planning tools and models that improve quality and efficiency
- Manage the financial reporting timetable, coordinating inputs across the finance function to ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Respond to ad hoc data requests from senior stakeholders, providing accurate and well-structured analysis to support decision-making

- Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar enterprise planning tools is advantageous
- Confidence operating at C-suite level with strong influencing and communication skills
- Ability to translate financial complexity into clear, Board-ready narratives and high-quality presentations

About You
