Financial Resilience Adviser/Caseworker


Location
London - Head office near Royal Oak station with work also in community settings across Westminster.
Hours
Full time, 5 days per week (part-time considered). Employees are expected to spend 60% to 75% of their working time in the office or at outreach locations.
Salary
£34,551 - £41,120 depending on qualifications.
About the Role
Citizens Advice Westminster delivers a high-quality, agile advice service that reflects community issues and needs, always putting people first. As a Financial Resilience Adviser/Caseworker, you will support residents accessing the borough’s Crisis Resilience Fund by helping them strengthen their long-term financial stability through income maximisation, debt management, and improved financial capability. Your responsibilities will include conducting initial debt assessments, identifying urgent priorities, and helping clients understand their options and practical steps to improve their financial wellbeing. You will work holistically with partner agencies and provide advice across a range of enquiry areas, including welfare benefits and money advice. The role involves supporting vulnerable clients and acting on their behalf with third parties. Experience
Experience working with vulnerable clients in crisis situations and providing financial advice is highly desirable. Confidence in conducting debt assessments and managing complex enquiries is important.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in financial advice, welfare benefits, or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory. A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to Citizens Advice standards is expected.
