Location
London, mainly South West London areas.

Hours
36 hours per week on a 3 on 3 off basis. You will work a rotation of three days on, three days off which includes days, nights, sleeping/waking nights and weekends. Shifts may be assigned at short notice. Paid a static 36 hours per week.

Salary
£18.24 per hour

About the Role

Full training will be provided to prepare you for this role. You will support both adults and children with complex health needs including clinical interventions, moving and handling, mental health, learning disabilities, and autism. This role also involves supporting the Out of Hours service on a rotational basis.

Your responsibilities will include assisting vulnerable clients to live the life they choose by promoting their independence. This includes companionship, supporting with housework, running errands, preparing and cooking meals, and administering medication when required.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in care. Experience working with clients who have clinical interventions or mental health challenges is desirable.

About you
Caring, compassionate and motivated to make a difference. Good communication skills and a desire to care for others. Willingness to undergo all required training to meet client needs. Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and sleeping/waking nights. Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. A good standard of spoken and written English is required.

Qualifications
LD Level 2 or higher qualification in health and social care is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
