About the Role
As a Float Assistant Cook at Hilldene School Kitchen, you will undertake the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council’s contractual arrangements. This role will cover both Assistant Cook and Supervisor posts, providing a diverse and engaging work environment. HES Catering Services is the Local Authority provider of school meals for the London Borough of Havering, serving over 15,000 meals per day in our schools. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality catering services and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

Experience
No specific experience required, but a passion for cooking and working in a school environment is essential.

About you
The post holder will report to the Cook Supervisor or Higher Graded Operative and will not have direct staffing responsibilities. You should be able to work as defined on the Staffing Profile and be committed to providing excellent service.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this position, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
